I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were helpful, going above and beyond to assist me when I lost my bag at the airport. The room was impeccably clean, with fresh towels and water provided daily. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping me comfortable throughout my stay. The hotel's location near the metro made it convenient for exploring the city. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and cleanliness.

The location of this hotel in Beijing was not ideal for tourists. Although it was close to the subway, it was difficult to get a taxi. it was far away from the usual tourist areas like the Forbidden City. However, there was a little restaurant down the alley that offered some local cuisine, which was a nice experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing good recommendations for local restaurants. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and the hotel offered amenities such as a nice breakfast.
One negative aspect of this hotel was that it lacked a casino or karaoke facilities, which could have added to the entertainment options for guests.

We recently stayed at Michael's House in Beijing and were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The Front Office Manager, Sean, was helpful and his excellent English made communication easy. He provided clear directions in Mandarin for the taxi driver and answered all our questions honestly and clearly.
Breakfast offered a great selection of both Western and Chinese food, although it's best to arrive early if you want the scrambled eggs or dumplings to be hot.

This place is in a great location, just a 10-15 minute walk from Jishuitan metro station. It's tucked away in a small alley in a non-touristy area, surrounded by the authentic Chinese atmosphere. There are plenty of night food stalls in the close vicinity, perfect for exploring local cuisine.
Recommend this hotel to everyone.
